  • Where are you located?
    • We are located at 1037 Broadway Suite G in Chula Vista, CA by the Arch Plaza shopping center. You can’t miss it!
  • Do you have parking space?
    We have plenty of free parking space available to our customers.
  • COVID-19

  • Do you require masks?
    • We require customers to wear a mask within the shop. We highly value our customer’s health; hence we follow CDC and county guidelines and social distancing measures wherever applicable.
  • Is there a capacity limit being implemented in the shop?
    • Yes, we can accept up to 4 customers
  • APPOINTMENTS

  • When are you open?
    We are open Wednesday to Saturday from 8:30am-9pm Sun 12:30pm -9pm
  • Do you accept walk-ins?
    • We do accept walk-ins; however, it will be better to book an appointment. If you’d like to walk-in, please call or send us a text message at (619) 856-7170 and we’ll notify you of our availability.
  • How can I book an appointment?
    • You can book an appointment directly through this website: https://mariebraids.square.site. If you have any specific question or encounter any issues, you can always call us as well.
  • Is booking an appointment free?
    Booking an appointment is free of any charge at the moment.
  • I’m late for my appointment, how long can you wait up for me?
    • We can wait up to 30 minutes for you. Feel free to call or text us at (619) 856-7170 and notify us beforehand.
  • What if I can’t make it to my appointment?
    • You can reschedule on our website, or you can call to notify us through a message or call. Rescheduling/Notifying must be done at least 12 hours before the appointment.
  • What is your no-show policy?
    • MarieBraids acknowledges that plans change at times and requires at least a 12-hour notice before canceling or rescheduling the appointment. Appointments canceled within 12 hours or for which customers are a no-show” will be charged a $25 flat fee on the next booking.

  • How long do your services usually take to style?
  • How long do the hairstyles tend to last?
    • Most hairstyles last 6 to 8 weeks depending on hair care and maintenance. We always recommend our line of products for the best natural hair care between your appointments.
  • Can you wash my hair?
    • Yes, we offer basic shampoo services for a small fee. Please refer to our pricing.
  • Do you braid men?
    Yes, we also braid men’s hair.
  • Do you braid kids?
    Yes, we start doing braids from 4 years old.
  • Do you provide hair extensions?
    • You would need to bring your own hair extension bundles for the following styles: Crochets, Faux Locs, Micro-Braids, and Sew-ins. For Passion Twist and Kinky Twist, we offer the hair extension bundles for a price of $10 to $25 each. For all other styles the hair bundles are included in the price.
  • What hair extension colors do you offer?
    • We have a variety of colors we can provide you with. Please inquire with us to check if we have what you want by calling or sending a text message at (619) 856-7170.
  • What if I need a custom hairstyle?
    • You can send a picture guide to us by email at info@mariebraids.com or by text message for a quicker response. You can also refer to the Gallery on our website to choose a style.
  • What if I don’t like my final style?
    • We provide a 3-day satisfaction guarantee. If you don’t like your final hairstyle, we can always redo it for you for free unless you want a different hairstyle. You may send an inquiry about out rework policy or ask about it during your appointment.
  • Can you take down my weave/braids/hairstyle?
    • Yes, the charge to take down your weave/braids/hairstyle is between $20 and $30 depending on the complexity.
  • PAYMENTS & PRICES

  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept all major debit cards, cash, CashApp, and Venmo.
  • How much for the braiding services?
    You can find the different prices on our website or booking page.
  • How much for touch-ups?
    Touch ups start at $80.
  • I’d like my child to have their hair done, how much would it cost?
    • Our pricing for kids is different from adults. This pricing is applicable for ages 4 years to 10 years old. Please refer to our booking page.
  • Do you offer any discounts?
    • We offer a 10% discount for all military members to thank them for their service. Valid ID verification needed for discount to apply.
    • We also offer a 10% discount to first-time customers only.
  • Do you have any reward program?
    • Our Loyalty program is open to all customers. You can get FREE product and services when you redeem your points at the salon. Feel free to join it by signing up here.
